The likelihood of any extra charges being applied to your order after payment and shipment is extremely low. In the event that such charges do arise, it's important to note that ARTIQUE AMSTERDAM cannot be held accountable for duties and taxes. The responsibility for any additional duties and taxes incurred in the destination country lies with the purchaser. Should you encounter any concerns in this regard, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
If you wish to receive a refund, please refrain from refusing the delivered package. It's crucial to understand that we cannot accept responsibility for packages declined by the recipient. Rejecting a package for any reason will result in the forfeiture of your eligibility for a refund.

Returns & Exchanges
At ARTIQUE AMSTERDAM, we understand that sometimes a purchase doesn't quite meet your expectations, and you may wish to make a return or exchange. No worries, our return policy is designed to streamline the process for you, ensuring that items are returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of receiving your order.
Once we've received your returned item(s), we'll promptly process a full refund using the original payment method. It's important to note that the 14-day return window begins from the date you receive your entire order. Unfortunately, any returns initiated after this period won't be accepted, and you'll be responsible for covering the return shipping costs.

Shipping
When it comes to shipping, the responsibility lies with you. You'll need to cover the shipping costs for returning your item(s), and unfortunately, these costs are non-refundable. For peace of mind, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or opting for shipping insurance to keep track of your package until it reaches us.
Before finalizing your return, ensure it's addressed to the address of our Return Center using the information provided in the email. Any other address is invalid and we will not be able to process your return and refund accordingly. If your return seems to have gone off the grid, please reach out to the carrier you sent it with.
Refunds
Once we have your return in hand, we'll send you an email to let you know whether your refund has been approved or not. Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Rejected Returns
Returns may hit a snag if they don't meet our return policy criteria, such as items not being in their original condition, being worn, or being returned after the 14-day window. Additionally, if we detect scents of perfumes, washing soap, or any other indication that the item has been worn and is no longer in its original state, it won't make the cut. If your return falls into this category, we'll inform you promptly. While we can send the item back to you, please note that you'll be responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund is nowhere to be found, first check your bank account and then get in touch with your credit card company or bank. If you still need help, drop us a line at info@artique-amsterdam.com, and we'll investigate further.
Exchanges
Looking to swap for a different size or color? No problem! Just place a new order. If the item you want is out of stock, shoot us an email, and our support team will assist you.
Defects
We're sorry if your purchase arrived damaged. Contact us at info@artique-amsterdam.com with your order number and photos of the damage, and we'll sort it out ASAP.
Gifts with Purchase
At ARTIQUE AMSTERDAM, we love showing appreciation to our customers. That's why we offer complimentary gifts when you reach a certain spending threshold. For instance, when your order total exceeds €250,-, you'll receive a free Signature Tote Bag as our way of saying thank you.
However, we want to ensure that these gifts are received by those who genuinely support us. Therefore, if you happen to return items from your order, resulting in the total falling below €200,-, we'll deduct the cost of the Signature Tote Bag from your refund.
If you are already planning to return certain products and thus fall below the €200 threshold, we recommend that you remove the Signature Tote Bag from your cart beforehand, unless you wish to keep the bag and don't mind paying for it. This way, you avoid disappointments and unnecessary costs when returning items.

Your refund will take approximately 10 - 14 business days between the receipt of the returned merchandise and refund. Once your merchandise has been successfully received, you will receive an email notifying you of the total refund amount to be credited to your account.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days following receipt of your goods. If you return products to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

Since we're a Dutch company this is our most chosen payment option. When choosing the iDeal option at checkout, you will asked to select your bank. You will then be directed to the secured website of your personal bank. Once you have completed the steps required by your bank, you will return to ARTIQUE-AMSTERDAM.COM.

All measurements are in centimeters. Please consider a potential margin of error of 1-3 cm, as many of our items are hand-measured.
